Nilisha's two cents on living life

Ms Nilisha, one of the trustees of FHE, sensitising the mothers of Muskaan girls on various aspects of life, including parenting and women empowerment.

Cooking and tailoring classes

Thanks to the donations received, we are able to provide classes on cooking and tailoring to the mothers of Muskaan girls.
Like many others who learnt cutting and tailoring at our center and made it their profession, we hope these ladies will also follow suit.

Carolina had been a volunteer teacher for Muskaan girls for the last two months. 
Today was her last day. Thank you Carolina for your good job. The children will miss you.

Camila Jimenez spending her vacation at Muskaan

Camila Jimenez, a student of The British School in Delhi, is spending a part of her holidays with Muskaan girls teaching them Art and Craft .
The girls are super excited with their new teacher.

Ms Suzannah Cheris at Muskaan

Ms Suzannah Cheris visited Muskaan with her children Hugo and Olivia. They donated their toys and books to the Muskaan children.
Although Olivia was a little sad about giving up all her toys but her mother encouraged her to be generous. 
Thanks Suzannah for setting a good example for all the mothers!!!!

FHE welcomes new trustees - Mrs Annie Pudussery and Nidhi Jacob

Mrs Annie Pudussery and Nidhi Jacob have been appointed as new trustees of FHE. 

Mrs Annie Pudussery, a Delhi University alumnus, voluntarily teaches English to our Muskaan girls. She has been associated with FHE as a volunteer and fundraiser since its foundation in 1999.
Nidhi Jacob, an advocate, joined FHE as a class 12th student in 2010. She writes reports and content for FHE apart from volunteering in the activities organised by FHE.
We wish them the best and hope they will bring new ideas to FHE. Let's spread Muskaan (smile) :)

FHE is delighted to announce the awesome results of our girls of Muskaan. All of them have passed the exams with good grades and many have got ranks in their classes in their respective schools.

We thank the Muskaan teachers for their outstanding efforts, the volunteers, our sponsors and our generous donors without whom we wouldn't achieve this success.

Farewell to Shivani Madam

FAREWELL TO OUR SENIOR GIRLS

The end of academic session was followed by an emotional farewell to our senior girls of Muskaan. 😐
Muskaan has moulded them into girls with strong foundation.
Now they will be studying on their own and will only attend the computer classes and doubt clearing sessions at Muskaan.
FHE thanks all the teachers and mentors who were part of their journey in Muskaan. 😊

Computer classes at Muskaan

The much awaited computer classes have begun at Muskaan. :)

MEDICAL CAMP AT HAUZ KHAS VILLAGE on 9th January 2016

Almost a hundred adults and kids turned up for checkup by Dr Michelle at the medical camp organised by FHE at HKV.
We would like to specially thank Chirag Ahuja for being an outstanding volunteer. He managed the kids of the village single handedly for almost three hours teaching and interacting with them.

FIRST SHOES OF THEIR LIVES :)
