The Painting Project

As part of the upcoming project of painting the houses of beneficiaries of Hauz Khas Village, Dr. Josephine and Lenny Mathew met the Ambassador of Colombia, His Excellency Juan Alfredo Pinto, at the Embassy of Colombia in New Delhi.

The project will be executed in September from 7th to 15th.

Volunteers and friends of FHE may please keep their schedules free during the two weekends - 7, 8, 14 & 15 Sep.- so as to join the team from the Embassy of Colombia in painting.

It's going to be FUN!!!

A joint venture of Embassy of Columbia in New Delhi and FHE

The Honourable Consul of Columbia visited the Muskaan Center. They wish to teach the villagers new techniques to paint their houses. The project will be in the month of September.

A big thanks to KSHITIJ GOYAL, a B.Tech. final year student of National Power Training Institute (NPTI), New Delhi, for putting in so much effort to collect money from his college to donate to FHE.

It is heartwarming to know that you voluntarily visited Muskaan, talked to the girls and teachers there,
asked for a presentation of FHE from Lenny Mathew (a volunteer of FHE, also from NPTI),
presented it in the college auditorium,
made a collection from the students and teachers present there
and then donated it to us.

We appreciate your efforts, Kshitij. Hope many more get inspired to help the way you did.

Also, we were very glad to know that you were inspired by your MOTHER and your seniors of NPTI who are volunteers of FHE.
